Carillon Technologies Announces Appointment of Marty Bollinger to Advisory Board

ARLINGTON, Va. – September 15, 2018 – Carillon Technologies announces the appointment of Marty Bollinger, former Senior Partner for Aerospace and Defense (A&D) at Booz & Company, to the Carillon Technologies Advisory Board.

“We are excited to be bringing Marty’s deep experience and technology background to Carillon’s Advisory Board,” said Dr. John Evans, Carillon Technologies’ CEO. “Marty and I had the opportunity to work together extensively in previous roles. I was consistently impressed by his deep understanding of the A&D space and his keen strategic sense.”

Mr. Bollinger currently serves as a Visiting Executive Lecturer at Darden School of Business and Director and Vice President of the Naval Historical Foundation. Prior to that, he worked at Booz Allen Hamilton / Booz & Company from 1985 until 2013 where he consulted to C-level executives across the aerospace and defense industry on business strategy, organizational effectiveness, and operational efficiency. Bollinger served on the Boards of Directors for Booz Allen Hamilton, Booz & Company, and several smaller firms that brought innovative commercial technologies to government customers. In those capacities he also played a role in several successful transactions, including at the multi-billion-dollar level. He holds an MBA in Finance from Wharton School of Business and a BSFS in International Economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

“Carillon is at the center of one of the most critical national security issues of our time,” said Bollinger. “Administration after administration has launched initiatives to enable the Department of Defense to access commercial technology and innovation with mixed success. Carillon’s new business model promises to drive transition of technology from commercial sector to the defense prime contractors, helping to secure our national defense, create new American jobs, and ensure that those who serve America have access to the same technologies that Americans enjoy in their homes and businesses every day.”
